You Have No Need in Eternal Life and Godliness

[3] “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” – 2 Peter 1:3 (KJV)

Yesterday, I spoke about how grace and peace will be multiplied unto your life when you get to know God and Jesus your Lord more intimately. Today, as part of Apostle Peter making us aware of who we are in Christ, he draws our attention to what we have in Christ and how it was made available to us.

God, through His divine power, has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness. The word “life” in 2 Peter 1:3 is “zōē,” which means eternal life. So when it comes to the life Jesus has given you, you have no need. That means you dwell in a realm of endless possibilities. But how you’ll grasp this truth and enjoy your privileges in Christ depends on one major thing – the precise and correct knowledge of God.

Many Christians don’t study the Bible personally. So, they subscribe to sermons from several sources, and many get easily deceived. That is why, although God has anointed many to live in greatness, yet the same people are living like paupers. Do you know how powerful God has made you in Christ since the day you got renewed in the Spirit? Your real you in the realm of the Spirit is far greater than who you physically look. Imagine God living inside you; you cannot have an ordinary life!

Wake up! Child of God, arise and claim your spiritual authority in the Spirit. Stop begging and living like a hustler while there’s eternal life dwelling inside you! Get to know God more intimately, and every need you think you have will be met by Jesus without your human toils. May God be with you and help you live in the consciousness that you have no need in eternal life and godliness because you’re His beloved child.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, illuminate the eyes of my understanding to know how great You’ve made me in You for my life to be far from ordinary. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
