By[1] “Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid.” – Proverbs 12:1 (NKJV)
In life, there are many choices. And because of that, how a person will become in future heavily depends on what he gets exposed to from now – environmental-wise, educational-wise, spiritual-wise and parental-wise. We all need to be corrected by people who are ahead of us in the same life trajectory we’ve chosen to take. But how many love to be corrected, especially men?
Proverbs 12:1 says whoever loves instruction loves knowledge. In other words, when you keep accepting corrections and guidance from the right people, you’ll grow in knowledge in every area you’re taught in. That is why many people who lack knowledge in certain areas of their lives usually have no proper instructors in those areas. Well, I don’t believe a person has to know it all. However, as to what it takes to live a godly life in this evil age, we must not turn down instruction, especially from godly parents and ministers of God!
I pray that God puts you in the company of good people who’ll help you bring out the best of who God has called you to be without your struggle.
