By[7] “and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:7 NKJV
Ever been through a difficult situation but still walked around with joy in your spirit? If yes, then I suppose many people who knew about your situation and saw you thought you were mad. A similar thing happened in my local church, where one member who lost his dad a few days ago was dancing joyously in church as if nothing had happened to him over the week. Do you know what kept him strong? It’s called the peace of God.
The Word says in Philippians 4:6 (NKJV) that,
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;”
So God says, whether things are going on well in your life or not, pray and supplicate about everything, and then with thanksgiving, present your requests to Him. Then He adds in verse 7 (emphasis mine) that “and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Therefore, God’s most prized possession for you in living the victorious eternal life is peace. That peace is so powerful that it surpasses all human understanding. In other words, it beats the human mind, no matter how deeply scientists analyse it.
You can enjoy God’s peace right amid your life’s storms. But you’ve got to be intentional about prayer and supplication. And when you do, you’ll get the divine enablement to go through every life challenge without a scratch of worry and anxiety in your mind and heart. Because the Lord God will settle and guide you in everything you’ll present to Him.

Thank you, God, for providing prayer as the solution to all anxiety. I receive grace to implement this knowledge whenever issues try to put strains on my mind. In the name of Jesus. Amen?
