By[17] “But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children” — Psalms 103:17 NIV
During infancy, I saw many ministers read James 4:14 to me, which left me devastated about life. It says,
“… What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.”

But later, I realised there is more to life than just existing. Yes, I’ve seen many people die, and in a few years, even their then-neighbours don’t remember them. But I’ve also seen people die whose names are still being mentioned in high places of influence every day.
One example is Dr Myles Munroe. Millions continue to listen to his teachings about God’s kingdom, even though he died in 2014. Why? Because he had God, who gave him His love and a life of purpose, so powerful to impact multiple generations.
Psalm 103:17 tells us that the Lord’s love is with those who fear Him. And that love is from everlasting to everlasting. That implies it’ll never end. So though people die and get forgotten by people, God’s love will continue to benefit those who revere Him in all their ways. His righteousness (administration of divine goodness) will also be with their grandchildren.
The best way to secure your family in Christ is by revering Him in all your ways, starting today. Continue following His ways. Serve Him. He’ll take care of your future.

Father, thank You for assuring me that Your love unto those who revere You is from everlasting to everlasting. I choose to honour you in all my ways. Give me the consciousness to make every decision with You in mind. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
