By[32] But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” [34] Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.” — John 4:32, 34 NKJV
A life of fulfilment is one thing many people seek to get each day. Many live without any sense of purpose, and because of this tragedy, they allow days to order their lives instead of dictating their days with their lives. I may be speaking to you. But the good news is that it’s not supposed to be that way.
God didn’t bring you here on this Earth to live by life and people’s demands. No! He created you to live on purpose, and that can only be realised by knowing and working out your divine assignment. Jesus knew His – that is, to do the will of the Father who sent Him and to finish His work. That is the key to life’s fulfilment.
Romans 8:28 NKJV says,
“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
God predestined you to conform to the image of Jesus Christ. So the mission of Jesus is your mission, just that the specifications may vary from person to person.
Spend adequate time in God’s presence to allow Him to show you your purpose and how to go about it. You’ll see a massive shift in your life as you live by vision.

Lord, help me discover my divine mandate for life; so that I’ll live by Your dictates. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
