By[2] “For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. [3] The Gentiles shall come to your light,” —Isaiah 60:2-3 NKJV
Are you surprised that despite many preachers around the world speaking the truth of Jesus, evil is still thriving? It’s due to the prophecy in Isaiah 60:2 that “… the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people…”. So, people will not cease doing evil things, all for their selfish gains. But what has God said about our lives as believers? The scripture says,
“… but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. [3] The Gentiles shall come to your light,”
Isaiah 60:2-3 NKJV
For we, the children of God, God will keep prospering us. His glory will shine in our lives. That means that there’s nowhere we’ll enter without God causing us to be favoured. This truth isn’t something to tickle your mind. God’s Word is sure, and amen.
However, there’s a higher prophecy reserved for only those who witness the light of Jesus in their various divine callings. The Bible says the Gentiles shall come to your light (Isaiah 60:3). The word “light” in the scripture means “rising.” Therefore, as you excel in your field of divine calling, influential people will keep coming to you to see and pay for the work you do. That is the secret behind highly sought-after pastors, businessmen and professionals in God’s kingdom. They’re so good at their work that people pay to get their service.
Nevertheless, see not that this prophecy is for the elite. It’s also for you, friend. But to get to that height, you need to discover your divine gift and stir it up by constant work till you become very good at it. Nobody started as a champion overnight. Some took months, some years and others decades to learn what they’re doing now. Your life will be different. Trust in God and go to work.
