Stand Perfect and Complete in All the Will of God

[5] “Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.” — Colossians 4:12 (KJV)

Have you ever wondered what is the perfect and complete will of God for every area of your life? You see, too many of us are so used to living with situations we must deal with. But God does not want that for us. He doesn’t want us to be struggling here and there, living with diseases and bad habits. He came so that by His grace upon our lives, everything that is in disorder will get turned back to order. And that was what Epaphras knew.

This man of God, who got a full commendation from the great Apostle Paul, laboured in prayers for the Colossian church to stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. So that means living in God’s perfect and complete will in each area of your life is possible, but not without prayer!

When was the last time you prayed about that friend you’re hoping to propose to? Did you pray about God’s exact purpose for your life? What about the exact course you ought to read in the university or that addiction you want to stop? You see, these are questions people ignore to answer before venturing into areas of their lives.

Today is a day of transformation. Be like the praying Epaphras, maybe not for another church but for yourself, your family and your ministry. I assure you that things will turn around for your good in ways unimaginable.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Lord, help me to stand perfect and complete in all the will of God in every area of my life. Help me to pray about matters well in order for them to work for my good. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
