Snatch Some From The Fire

“Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.” — Jude 1:22 - 23 NIV

Jude is one of the shortest books in the Bible. Because of its brevity, many of the things the Apostle Jude spoke about are straightforward and abrupt. And today, I’m writing about one of them. That is, snatching some people from the fire of hell by preaching the message of Christ to them (Jude 23).

A lot of unbelievers think hell is a joke. Some don’t believe that if they don’t accept Jesus, they’ll forever burn in the lake of fire. Others are also too earth-conscious that they don’t think about their fate in eternity. As a child of God, what must you do?

You must continue to preach Christ to all people, especially the lost, for them to be reconciled back to God through salvation. Jesus still saves, heals and delivers. But His message won’t reach every creature on this earth if we children of God decide to shut up.

He (Jesus) said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
Mark 16:15 NIV

Dear Minister, don’t stay in your comfort zone. Don’t just pray and study the Word. Move out to win souls unto the Lord. Continue preaching Christ through every possible medium, physically and technologically. People must get saved. Do the work of an evangelist.

Prayer

Father, awaken a fresh hunger for the salvation of souls in me. Let me be restless in my spirit anytime I see another person going wayward to the Truth until I preach Christ to the person by Your will in the name of Jesus. Amen.
