Rise to Solve Issues that Affect You

[15] He asked the king’s officer, “Why did the king issue such a harsh decree?” Arioch then explained the matter to Daniel. [16] At this, Daniel went in to the king and asked for time, so that he might interpret the dream for him.” — Daniel 2:15 - 16 NIV

Men of purpose who know what they’re about in life are usually busily fruitful people. They are so occupied with what God has called them to do that so many matters bypass them without their knowledge. I say this both as a personal testimony and as a witness to some of my friends who are ministers. I quite remember two of them telling me that they were so busy with ministerial work that they didn’t have time to watch television. Today, they are ahead in purpose fulfilment more than those who start their days with news from these media stations.

That was how Daniel lived in Babylon. He was a wise man in the kingdom. But he hardly concerned himself with what went on in the palace.

Nebuchadnezzar, one time, had a dream and wanted his wise men to tell him that dream and additionally interpret it. Daniel and his three friends – Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego weren’t around. And the rest couldn’t grant the king’s request. So, the king ordered all the wise men to be killed.

When Arioch, the king’s officer, got to Daniel, the prophet spoke with him with wisdom and tact (see Daniel 2:14). He then received an explanation of what happened. And at the king’s request, he got time to ask the Lord for a solution.

Just as Daniel did, you have to rise to solve issues that affect you as soon as you come around, son of God. The worldly people will keep failing to give the right solutions to problems. Therefore, as a child of God, possess the consciousness of becoming a solution provider to issues, not an addition to trouble anywhere you go.

Rise to solve issues that affect you, man of God. Jesus has given you what it takes to become a solution wherever you go. Don’t limit your potential.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Lord God, may I never lose the insight I need to solve problems wherever I go. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
