By[10] “All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.” — Psalms 25:10 NIV
When God loves you, He gives you special training that’s not in any human order. God knows you more than you know yourself. So His ways in your life are sometimes beyond your natural comprehension. That’s when it moves from a personal relationship with Him to a covenant He has with you.
For example, if God tells you never to build your house before you are thirty-five years, you might think God is harsh on you. But it’s a training and a covenant He has with you so that by His vision for your life, you’ll not face some situations before that timeline. Maybe you might struggle to maintain that house well when you build it before His stipulated time or for some other reason.
You don’t know it all. Perceive love in keeping the demands of God’s covenant with you; because scripture says in Psalm 25:10 that all the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful towards those who keep the demands of His covenant.
I want to tell you that beyond the harshness of obeying God’s covenant, there’s a joy because of the everlasting joy God supplies when you obey His ways. Don’t lose hope in the Lord. He is true to His Word. Trust in Him.
