Minister Your Gift to One Another

[10] “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” – 1 Peter 4:10 (NKJV)

There’s no child of God without at least one divine gift in him. But the unfortunate thing happening in this generation is that many believers are not taking the time to discover their gifts. Secondly, even those who know their gifts are clouded in a life of extreme busyness, so much so that they hardly find time to work on them and refine them to their best quality. And to tell you the truth, your divine gift will only command global attention when you’ve refined it so well.

Today, I can name many people I’ve seen in Christ who abandoned their calling just because they completed tertiary education, got married, had a demanding job or relocated to another place. In fact, it’s sad to say that many such people don’t amount to much in God’s kingdom, even after working hard in the secular world to get all the material possessions they desire. For me, I’m glad that even though God helped me to discover mine, He helped me to develop it well by helping me to create a lifestyle that accommodates it.

Which category of people do you fall into – those who don’t know their divine gift, those who know theirs but have failed to harness it or those who know and are using theirs to impact the world for God’s glory? If you’re in category one, seek God to reveal your divine purpose to you. If you’re in category two, pray that God will help you to create a lifestyle that accommodates the gift and helps you to work on it. And if you’re in category three, keep pressing on to command global impact as you minister your gift to one another. Please remember the pattern.

Never give up, and remember that the key to greatness in God’s kingdom heavily depends on serving your divine gift to the world.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, help me to minister my divine gift to people in divine power so that they’ll benefit from what you’ve placed in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
