It Is Safe To Walk In God’s Will

[30] “There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord.” — Proverbs 21:30 NIV

God is omniscient. So He knows everything, from the beginning to the end. And because of His unlimited knowledge, there’s nothing new to Him on this Earth. Nothing that happens surprises Him because He knew it would happen. That’s why long before Adam and Eve fell in Genesis 3, Jesus, the lamb of God, was slain before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8).

The Word says in Proverbs 21:30 that no wisdom, insight or plan can succeed against the Lord. Now, note that it doesn’t say, “No wisdom, insight or plan of man can succeed against God.” That means even if demons plan against the doing of God, it won’t be successful. That is why no matter what the devil does, God’s counsel will always stand, and He’ll never fail.

Following this, I’d say that it’s safe to walk in God’s will in your life. When you follow God’s ways, His protection becomes your covering, and His guidance keeps you from stumbling.

There are many things the devil does merely to make people try out alternatives against God’s Word upon their lives. Those opinions might look good. But it’s a trap. It might look flashy in your mind, but it has dead ends. Proverbs 16:25 (KJV) says,

“There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, But the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Those seemingly glamorous thoughts the devil suggests in your mind have multiple ways of causing destruction in your life. So cast down every imagination that exalts itself against what God has told you to do. Allow grace to have its perfect work and just follow Christ. He will guide you.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the revelation that no plan, insight or wisdom can succeed against You. If I’m lost in any area of my life, help me to know and understand which path to take according to Your plan for my life. Lead and guide me in the way everlasting. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
