By“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” - Romans 12:2 NKJV
Transformation is a spiritual process in Christ whereby the thinking pattern of a believer in Christ is subjected to gradual renewal through exposure to the teachings of Christ in the Bible. God has a purpose for instilling transformation in Christ. He wants everybody not only to be saved but also to come to the knowledge of the Truth (1 Timothy 2:4).
God wants His will to be known and proven by His people anywhere in the world. If this gets achieved, it’ll be easy for anything in the world to become an expression of Christ; because renewed Christ-centred mindsets will be used to create and operate them. So the Bible says that if you get transformed by the renewing of your mind, you can prove the good, perfect, and acceptable will of God.
Wait a minute! That means God’s will has three types: good, acceptable, and perfect. And before Him, He wants all of them to be known and proven by believers to the world. Before you came into Christ, you had a worldly life.
It’s unnecessary to carry that life into Christ; because if you do, you’ll still live like a worldly person although you’re born again. Change your schedules. Refine your routines and put everything that will make you skip attending spiritual meetings aside. For as you get exposed to the preaching of the Word, your mind will transform. Shalom!
