If God Is For You, Who Can Be Against You?

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” — Romans 8:31 - 32 NKJV

Before Paul got to verse 32 of Romans chapter 8, he spoke about so many things God does for us behind the scenes, whereby some are uncomfortable to us. For example, Romans 8:18 says,

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Romans 8:18 NKJV

From the scripture above, Paul understood that even in the midst of life challenges, God still works in us to behold Him and His glory to be revealed in us. That is — a progressive understanding of God in our daily lives.

Friend, God is committed to your well-being. And if God is for you, who can be against you? You may have enemies, some of which you don’t even know. But I want to assure you that this God is committed to protecting you and working around to oversee your daily well-being. Why are you so afraid? Why are you troubled?

If He didn’t spare Jesus but gave Him up to come and die for you, what shows He can’t answer the little prayer requests you make unto Him? Circumstances may say the opposite to you. But do you know something? Let God be true. Let what He has said be true to you in your heart, and every man or circumstance be a liar. He’ll perform His counsel in your life. Speak by faith. Pray in faith, and watch how He overturns the tables to work things out for your good.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer

Oh God, I pray in the name of Jesus that my faith in you will never fail. It will be held on firmly and utilised well in intense destiny prayers. So that what you have ordained to be for me, I’ll never lose it at all cost. Amen!
