By[22] “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. [23] They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22 - 23 NIV
God is sovereign. He’s all-powerful. And because of that, He can execute judgement on whoever He wants without mercy. But He’s love, and because of that, we’re not consumed despite our evil ways of thinking. God’s compassions never fail. Why? Because they are new every morning. But note, the Word didn’t say “compassion” but “compassions.” That means the compassion God has on humanity for today is different from that which He’ll have tomorrow. That’s why it’s fresh every day. It won’t fade because He controls everything.
The faithful God will never be unfaithful to you. He’ll take care of you, nourish you with His Word and nurture you in His ways. He’s a good God.
Live in submission unto Him in all your ways (Proverbs 3:9-10). And you shall never be disadvantaged in life, no matter what people say about you.

Prayer:
Oh God, thank You that Your compassions never fail; they are new every morning. Have mercy on Your children, and help us to live in submission to Your everlasting Word. So that our lives will become testimonies of your goodness. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen!
