God Will Outgive What You Ask Him

[20] “Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us,” — Ephesians 3:20 AMP

Did you know God’s plan for your life far outweighs whatever hits your imagination? He has plans to give you a great future (see Jeremiah 29:11) but reveals bits of its pieces to those who seek Him from the bottom of their hearts. I believe there are many times you’ve prayed for yourself and gotten great revelations about where God is taking you, yet you don’t know how you’ll get there. He wants you to trust Him.

In Ephesians 3:20, the Bible says God is able to do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think according to His power at work in us. Guess what? God’s power at work in you isn’t limited to producing tangible results in your life. He’s willing to do so much for you, but do you think like that?

What if you’re anointed for generations, yet you think like a mere gentleman satisfied with a job and small family? I suppose you need mental transformation to behold the great blessings of God.

God will outgive what you ask Him in prayer because He can do more than what you think about. So if you ask Him for something and He gives you a bigger one, usually concealed in a small package, don’t despise it and think that it is not of God.

On the other hand, if He delays giving you what you ask for immediately, it means He knows you don’t have what it takes to handle such a blessing. So for you to not get crushed with the management of such a blessing, He’ll save you from stress and untimely work demands until He builds you up to fit that level of spiritual capacity.

Don’t give up on God, friend. Think big and ask for big things. He’s got you covered.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer:

Father, broaden my thinking by revealing great revelations about Your plan for my life. Let not my shallow thinking limit my faith in You to do great things in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
