By“every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.” — 1 Corinthians 3:13 - 14 KJV
Dear believer in Christ, did you know that God will judge your works upon the second coming of Jesus? Maybe you’re not accustomed to this teaching, but it’s evident in scripture.
One thing God watches in each of His children’s lives is their works pertaining to His kingdom. Why? Because He has made provisions to reward each person according to his work. Revelation 14:13 (KJV)says,
“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.”
So your works contributing to your divine purpose fulfilment follow you even after you’re physically dead. Knowing this very well, why won’t you focus on doing God’s work diligently without grumbling today? Yes, it’s not easy; sometimes, you’ll lose some sleep and overwork. But here’s something I do to encourage myself,
“God won’t forget my labour of love. And my reward will far outweigh the afflictions I face today.”
Take this as your personal encouragement. Look unto God to provide all your needs and the spiritual empowerment to labour efficiently for souls to be saved and discipled. You’re strong.

Prayer
Father, I pray in the name of Jesus, empower me to live as I ought to and not as selfishly as the world depicts before my eyes. I choose to serve You all the days of my life in diligence. Amen!
