David is one man who encountered several troubles in his lifetime. He saw people betray him and even his son planning to execute him.
Several people came to attack his nation, property and intimacy with God. But God delivered him from them all. That’s why he was bold to write that God has cut him from the cords of the wicked (Psalm 129:4). What about you?
Do you believe God has planned to deliver you from incoming trouble you never know? Maybe it’s an unexpected situation or a loss of a dear one. It is in those moments you’ll realise God is closer to you than anybody else.
Believe and declare that God will cut you from the cords of the wicked. He’ll remove you from the company and influence of wicked people, whether you know them or not.
Of a truth, some people are evil, yet smile at you whenever they see you. Don’t be deceived by appearances. Just learn to focus on following Jesus every time and eliminate anything that’ll attack your spiritual sanity in Christ Jesus.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, take me off the radar of wicked people. Lead me out of the evil company that has surrounded my life, and make me whole in You. Amen!
