By‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ — Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV
Are you conscious of the truth that God is omniscient? He’s all-knowing. But of what good is it for Him to know everything without exposing some to men for their profiting? God is love, and love isn’t selfish (1 John 4:8, 1 Corinthians 13:4).
One thing I’ve discovered about relationships is that the more you get closer to a person, the more he’s willing to share secret matters with you. Every leader has this experience. Some people are just closer to you, even in a small team than others. And because of that, some know the leader more than others. That isn’t bad. It’s a replica of what Christians share with God.
Psalm 25:14 (NKJV) says,
“The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.”
Those who fear (revere) God get closer and closer to Him each day. And because of the increasing bond, God has no choice but to lease out much great and unsearchable divine mysteries, especially from His Word about Himself to them. But everything will happen in one condition. That is, “Call upon Me…,” says the Lord.
God wants to teach you great and unsearchable things that’ll affect your life and also generations unborn if you’re determined to cling unto Him. He has no favourites amongst believers in Christ, but He pays attention to those who seek to know Him intimately daily. That’s why it’s written in James 4:8a (NKJV) that,
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you … ”
Set up systems and structures in your life to remain connected to God each day, no matter how busy you are.

Prayer
Father, help me build systems to call upon Your name each day. Show me things I must know that I am not aware of according to Your ways for my benefit, as well as the generation I’m called to lead. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
