God Is Your Protector

“Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” — Proverbs 3:25 - 26 NIV

Do you believe that God is your protector? If yes, you don’t need to worry about anything accidental happening to you because God is faithful to protect you.

Once when I was a child, my parents used to warn me never to step out at certain times of the night. I appreciated that a lot because it protected me. But as I grew up to know the Lord, I’ve seen them lift those boundaries off my life because they came to understand that God is my protector, and there’s nothing much they can do to protect me since they cannot regulate my movement all the time.

Whether you’re married, single, or a child, nobody can monitor everywhere you go. So it’s up to you, as well as your loved ones, to understand that God is your protector and not any security guard or army satellite.

Don’t live a fearsome life. Have no thought of a sudden disaster about to happen to you because God will always be there to help you. He’s not like a man to be limited. No. He’s omnipresent. He will take care of you. Rest in His promises.

Prayer

Oh God, thank You for being a faithful protector of my life since that day I was born. I choose not to fear but rest in Your comforting arms. I reaffirm by faith that it will never get worse with me. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
