God Has Changed Your Spiritual Position

[4] “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, [5] even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) [6] and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” — Ephesians 2:4 - 6 KJV

God is so good. When we were without strength, He sent Christ to die for us, who were ungodly.

In Ephesians 2:4, the scripture says God is rich in mercy; He had a great love for us. Then in verse 5, it continues that when we were dead in sins, He quickened us together with Christ. Do you know what that means?

When you didn’t deserve salvation, He had enough patience and sacrifice just because of you. He sent His Son to die for you and cleanse your sins with His pure blood. That is why you shouldn’t be afraid to come before Him. Reject condemnation when you come before God’s presence.

After all this labour, that wasn’t all. Ephesians 2:6 tells us that God has raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. So God has changed your spiritual position from a realm of deadness in sins to an honourable place in His Son’s kingdom. Of course, only He can do this; no man can do it.

In that heavenly place, you have authority over demons. You have the power to silence every activity of the enemy. These are all available to you. So don’t belittle yourself, thinking you’re an unworthy vessel in Christ. No! You carry power, so manifest it.

A slave doesn’t think like a king, and a king will never reason like a slave. You’re a king in Christ, so think as such and make powerful spiritual decrees to live godly lives.

Prayer

Father, help me utilise the full privileges which come with my spiritual position elevation in Christ Jesus. I choose to exercise authority over anything demonic in my life and family. In the name of Jesus. Amen!
