God Doesn’t Tempt Anyone With Evil

“Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.”— James 1:13 NKJV

I’ve met several people a few years in my life who perpetually blame God for the various atrocities in their lives. They try method A to do something, and it doesn’t work. Then they try method B, which also fails. And after multiple failed attempts, the devil deceives them to conclude in their minds that God is against them. Meanwhile, it’s not true.

In James 1:13, it’s clearly written that God doesn’t tempt anyone with evil, and He cannot even be tempted by it. Evil is associative with darkness, and in God, there’s no darkness because He dwells in unapproachable light (1 Timothy 6:16). So where from the evil attributes the devil had made people believe about Him?

God isn’t responsible for the negativities in your life.

God isn’t responsible for the negativities in your life. The root causes of such problems may be your own ignorance of how things work, both in the natural or the realm of the Spirit or a demonic foothold you or an ancestor in your family gave to the devil upon making some evil declarations.

Don’t be anxious about anything. Instead, pray about everything because there’s no problem without a solution. But that solution will be beneficial to you when you discover it (mainly through prayer) and use it strategically to solve the problem. Pray for the grace and wisdom to live an effective and purposeful Christian life with intentionality and high spiritual understanding.

You’re a blessing.

Prayer

Father, show me the root causes of each problem I face so that I’ll use the right method to solve it in the name of Jesus. Amen!
