Is God Against Persistent Prayers?

Probably you’ve heard that God answers the prayers of His people. And I know of people who question that truth. Because, to them, it seems they don’t see the results of some of their prayers.

While there are several reasons God may have delayed in granting your prayer request, there’s another sure way you can remind him and possibly fast-track it. It’s by making persistent prayers.

God wants you to pray

In the very same Luke 18, where Jesus used a parable to explain how effective persistent prayers are, Jesus narrated the parable to show His disciples that men ought always to pray and not to faint (Luke 18:1).

According to the storyline of the parable, several things are happening in our world today that isn’t in line with God’s will for His people on earth. And the worse thing about it is that the people who are to help revert these evil happenings are also cruel people filling top positions just like the unjust judge.

Friend, God wants you to pray. He wants you to see prayer as part of your work. He desires that you’ll have fellowship with Him in prayer so that you’ll give Him access into your life to rearrange things in order.

Did you know that prayer makes you lowly in heart and submissive to God? You can cry about your problem, but that won’t change it. When you pray, God steps in to help you.

God wants you to pray. He wants you to see prayer as part of your work. He desires that you’ll have fellowship with Him in prayer so that you’ll give Him access into your life to rearrange things in order.

Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven

Prayer is one of the kingdom keys in Christ. And with such a key in use, whatever is in disorder will be brought to order. Why? Because every kingdom key used to bind things on earth affects what gets bound in heaven (Matthew 16:19).

God will only reveal the solution to your problem in prayer. So as long as you pray persistently about one thing, He’s not against it. These kinds of prayers come before God as an emergency. And just as the unjust judge could do nothing but grant the widow’s plea for justice, God will attend to your request faster than you ever thought. Keep praying!
